About

I believe in the philosophy

“we grow through what we go through”.

My mission is to help others who are searching for holistic ways  to manage + heal from their chronic inflammation through diet and lifestyle.

Greetings! I'm Tammie Delveaux Rubenzer, your go-to Holistic Nutritionist. Trained as a Nutrition Response Testing , Functional - Nutritional Therapy Practitioner & Integrative Nutrition and Holistic Health Coach, hailing from beautiful Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin.

Let's dive into the heart of it – my journey to wellness. Over the past five years, I've faced the formidable trio of three autoimmunes- celiac, ankylosing spondylitis, and crohn's disease. Battling through it all, I've danced with biologics, navigated therapeutic food protocols to manage disease, battled with Lyme disease and it’s co-infections, mold toxicity, POTS, SIBO, H. Pylori, Gout, and even triumphed over a double hip replacement surgery due to joint damage caused by my health struggles.

Yet, here's the exciting part – I haven't just survived; I've thrived. My health challenges have transformed into a powerful purpose, and now, I'm on a mission to guide and inspire others. I have healed my body from the inside out, and now live a non-toxic lifestyle, rebalancing my body back to homeostasis. I've mastered the art of pivoting my diet and lifestyle in pursuit of well-being, and I'm here to share my insights, wisdom, and unwavering passion.

My pain has become my purpose and I am here to help you.

Let's turn your pain into purpose, together!

As humans, we are motivated by two factors: moving towards pleasure or moving away from pain. As your coach, it is my job to uncross those wires and help you realize that both of those things can actually mean getting healthier. Food affects your body in many ways- our gene expression, enzymes, cell communication, hormones, immune function, body detoxification, gut flora and digestive function, mitochondria, and so much more.

Together, we can help make eating what it should be- whole, real, delicious, pleasurable, nutritious, and satisfying!

We are a food first - holistic nutrition therapy practice. Using food as medicine. With the option to add on specialty functional lab testing to get to the root cause of your ailments and offering practitioner grade nutraceutical supplements and healing herbs at a concentrated, therapeutic nutritional level not attainable in food consumption alone. This is used to move the needle when a whole food approach has brought you far, but not all the way.

I believe that food is medicine.  You are what you eat…. literally.

Let me help you develop the skills to eat to live and live to eat.  I will help you build long-lasting confidence in the kitchen and reduce the overwhelm at the grocery store.

About Belly Love Wellness

I specialize in helping people with the behavior change strategies required to make a quantum shift to their diet for the betterment of their health. Whatever your “therapeutic diet” may be - food sensitivities, gluten free, dairy free, alcohol free, refined sugar free, grain free, low histamine, low-FODMAP, specific carbohydrate, plant based, vegan, vegetarian, keto, carnivore, mediterranean, paleo, AIP, food-additive free, whole food, nutrient dense diet; I can help you heal your relationship with food so you can be successful on a therapeutic diet and heal your body. We want to get you on the road to optimal wellness.

We also work to support foundational elements of health such as the importance of sleep quality, stress management, toxin reduction, finding purpose, connection to nature, nervous system regulation, and adding joyful movement into your daily life.

At Belly Love, we recognize everyone is bioindivideal and that each client that walks through our door will be treated with respect, body positivity, and inclusion. Know that nutrition is personal and that wellness is multidimensional. In a holistic approach we look at the whole person, not siloed systems. In order to heal we have to leverage our mind + body + spirit.

The Pillars of Belly Love Wellness

People don’t change based on what they know.

They change based on how they feel.

Eating to survive and thrive does not have to be scary.  At Belly Love Wellness, we believe in:

  1. Home Cooking: Learning the skills to cook for yourself and make delicious food, no matter what you can or cannot eat!

  2. Community: Creating a community of people that also are walking similar paths + journeys as you. Creating a space and understanding of what it’s like to have to eat differently than the norm is central.

  3. Food Relationships: Understanding our relationship with food and how that will impact our success on a therapeutic diet is central- trying not to label foods as good or bad.

  4. Eating Real, Whole Food: We want you to feel comfortable reading food labels and learn the skills to buy quality, nutrient-dense food.

  5. Blood Sugar Balance: We help you to balance your blood sugar with fiber + fat + protein. What are good sources of these macros and how do you find them?

  6. Food First Approach, with Support.  We can use supplements + speciality functional lab testing to move the needle and dig deeper, but want food to be the focus first.

  7. Holistic Approach: Belly Love Wellness is not just nutrition, but joyful movement, stress management, nervous system healing, quality sleep, joy, community, and belonging.  Health is multidimensional and we are all bio-individuals.  We must encompass the full body, mind, and spirit.

  8. Personalized Nutrition: The word “healthy” can be ambiguous and different for every person. We want to focus on being healthFUL.  One person’s healthy food or antiinflammatory food can be another person’s poison or trigger food.  We must provide personal health to each individual.

  9. EAT WHEN YOU ARE HUNGRY: Eat real food that is balanced when you need it. It’s about an abundance mindset, not about deprivation or restriction. It’s about nourishment, not always food portions.  Bulking up your veggies + fruits.  You can sometimes be malnourished and still be over-eating.  You can be holding extra energy on your body that isn’t being used for energy, even though you feel hungry.  It’s about intuitive eating and mindful eating.

  10. Body Positivity: We believe in body inclusion, not diet based nutrition.  Count nutrients, and plant points, not calories. We want to help you heal from the inside out.

Many functional medicine practitioners tend to run a test, give you a list of supplements, maybe some food restrictions, and send you on your way.

That may work in the short term to help get rid of some of your symptoms, but if you are not addressing other lifestyle factors such as sleep, stress, nutrition, movement, and removal of toxins in the environment, then most likely symptoms will never fully subside and probably will come back.

That’s why Belly Love Wellness is so different.  We combined functional and integrative nutrition therapy with holistic health coaching. That’s why with our program we provide high touch accountability, mixed with nourishing nutrition therapy, holistic health coaching (mind + body + spirit), mindset, and lifestyle support so that you can be your best and most optimal self.

We need to address the body holistically in order to maintain results long past when a protocol is finished.

“Health coaching is the bridge between medicine and the kitchen.”

Get started on your path to wellness, today.
